Roles & Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As Customs Billing Supervisor, you oversee and secure the entire billing process for transport and/or customs operations. You manage the billing team, organize activities, and ensure the accuracy of amounts, data compliance, and adherence to deadlines, in coordination with operations, the customs department, and accounting

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Supervise the billing team: organize workloads, prioritize files, and monitor workload distribution.
  • Support and develop team members skills: provide technical guidance, training, and promote best practices.
  • Prepare and review customer invoices (transport, customs, and additional charges).
  • Verify the accuracy and compliance of billing elements (rates, services, documentation, commercial agreements).
  • Monitor KPIs (billing timelines, processed volumes, discrepancies) and implement corrective actions.
  • Handle complex situations: billing disputes, recurring discrepancies, and sensitive customer requests.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standardization of methods within the team.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Minimum of a 2-year degree (Bac +2) in Finance, Management, Transport/Logistics, or a diploma from a customs declarant school.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the transport, logistics, or freight forwarding sector.
  • Good knowledge of international transport and/or customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and industry-specific software, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in French; professional level of English preferred.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of files and work effectively within a team.
  • Proven experience in team coordination or management.

Desired Candidate Profile
