Job description
Eaton is currently seeking a Drafter to join our team in Casablanca, Maroco.
What you’ll do:
- Designs parts, sub assembly and full assembly for projects developed by engineers.
- Develop and maintain mechanical designs using AutoCAD and Creo
- Completes 2D and 3D drawings for parts and/or sub-assembly, starting from sketches
- Works with quality dept. and engineering dept to define tolerances and critical dimensions
- Maintains accuracy of the drawing database
- Provides guidance to quality dept during PPAP process
- Develops and manages small projects (parts modifications or improvements, runner projects)
- Distributes new drawings and informs “customers” about changes
- Deals directly with suppliers for technical questions on drawings
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to define and validate tolerances.
- Actively support automation and simplification of datasheet creation
- Support marketing department by providing technical specification for customers

Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical, electrical or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in similar role

- Prevous experience as drafter, preferably in electrical components
- Expert in Pro-Eng and Autocad
- Electro-Mechanical design experience
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Fluent in French is a strong asset
