TheAccountantwill perform accounting functions and conduct the theory and practice of recording, classifying,examiningand analyzing data and records of financial transactions. Reviews andconsolidatesCountry Office financialson a monthly basis. Processes and records journal entries, cash receipts/field cashmanagementand wire payments. Responds to inquiries andassistsintrainings. Maintains general ledger accounts andsupportingsub-ledgers and produces various accounting reports. Participates in various accounting projects including external or internal audits, system upgrades, changes to accounting processes orproceduresand otherdutiesas assigned.
Accountabilities:
Independently applies accounting principles and practices to a variety of accounting, ,forecasting, costaccountingand/or other fiscal functions.
Performcash management activities, including preparation of payment vouchers, advance reconciliations, and cash count documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
Reconcileaccounts and reports, examinefinancial statements for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to guidelines, andmaintainsubsidiary ledgers.
Applied Knowledge &Skills:
Ability to compile, monitor, examine, and audit moderately complex financial statements, reports, and accounts for accuracy, integrity, and conformance to accounting and program guidelines.
Communicates structured information in a clear, concise, and organized manner suited to the needs of the audience.
Demonstratedproficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and computerized accounting software.

TravelRequirements:
The expected hiring salary range for this role is MAD 160,000 - 220,000 for annual gross salary. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay, and budget.
