OFR Export Operations and Customer Service Specialist

DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for OFR Export Operations and Customer Service Specialist in Morocco. In this role, you will ensure the delivery from A-Z of all the operations process related to OFR shipments.

In this OFR Export Operations and Customer Service Specialist position

  • You will handle day-to-day shipments and operational activities of Bulk Ocean Freight, including all types of sea shipments.
  • You will liaise with origins and destinations for forecasting and maintain close contact with the sales department and department supervisor.
  • You will place booking orders with shipping lines via appropriate systems.
  • You will ensure that shipments adhere to customs regulations of Morocco and other applicable countries.
  • You will send Bill of Lading (BL) instructions to shipping lines and verify that all information in the bill of lading is correct.
  • You will coordinate with depots for the fitting of flexi tanks and with truckers to pick up containers based on customer-requested dates.
  • You will coordinate with brokers to manage customs formalities.
  • You will check and prepare all necessary documents to complete export-import processes and customs clearance.
  • You will send invoices within 4 days from departure and within 3 days after arrival for imports.
  • You will ensure the collection of containers from shipping line depots.
  • You will provide complete and accurate information to customers in a timely manner.
  • You will coordinate daily operations and the movement of goods, including hazardous cargo.
  • You will prepare all required shipping documents accurately and on time, and assist customers in identifying appropriate transport modes.
  • You will deliver all documents on time to customers, brokers, shipping lines, and truckers.
  • You will maintain an optimal level of customer satisfaction.
  • You will ensure and control file results, including gross profit (GP), costs, and revenue.
  • You will consolidate all operational data at month-end for KPI reporting and analyze performance.
  • You will have the responsibility and authority to approve or reject non-conforming freight and containers.
  • You will check that all information in the Bill of Lading is accurate.
  • You will handle all customer complaints in coordination with shipping lines and the station network, and implement corrective actions in case of any issues or challenges.
   

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-4 Years of experience
   

Languages

  • Fluent in French
  • Fluent in Arabic
  • Fluent in English
