Roles & Responsibilities
The MBD engineer's responsibilities will include:
Design and modeling: Develop functional system models using MATLAB/Simulink while respecting the principles of Model-Based Design (MBD).
Compilation and debugging: Compile and analyze C code generated from templates, and ensure the correction of anomalies.
Validation and testing: Perform MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and B2B (Back-to-Back) tests to ensure the conformity of models and code.
Requirements analysis: Review and validate functional specifications to ensure their consistency and feasibility.
Software problem analysis: Identify, diagnose and resolve anomalies related to models or embedded code.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications- Holder of a degree in electronic engineering, embedded computing or systems, with 1 to 2 years of minimum experience.
- A very good level of English is required.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink (including Model Advisor, Design Verifier)
- Using Git/GitHub for configuration management
- Proficiency in CANOE/CANalyzer for CAN network simulation and analysis
- Good level of C programming knowledge for embedded development
- Knowledge of UDS and OBD protocols (major asset).
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 (automotive functional safety)
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR (automotive software architecture)
- Application of MISRA C guidelines for embedded code
