Roles & Responsibilities
In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
A. Electrical diagram
- Create or update electrical diagrams (wiring, power supply, controls).
- Pilot or execute wiring diagrams for harnesses and connections.
- Check and reread the diagrams to ensure their technical and regulatory compliance.
- Develop or update synoptic diagrams for an overview of the systems.
- Update the schematic lists (connectors, terminal blocks, devices, cables).
- Define a preliminary segregation of the harness cables to optimize integration.
- Prepare documentation packages for detailed electrical design.
B. Definition of Equipment
- Write or follow technical specifications for electrical products: Circuit breakers, relays, terminal blocks, contactors.
- Design or update the specifications of electrical cabinets (dimensions, components, standards).
- Define the specifications of complex electrical systems: Buttons, switches, indicator lights, headlights, converters, etc.
- Consult and monitor suppliers for:
- Component selection.
- Monitoring deliveries and product conformity.
- Validate the technical specifications and prototypes provided by the subcontractors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent in electrotechnics, electrical engineering or embedded systems.
- Minimum 3-5 years in electrical design (ideally in railway, aeronautical or heavy industry).
- Experience with railway standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, etc.) and functional safety processes (RAMS).
