Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React. Proven experience with microservices and event-driven architectures. Proficiency in relational and/or document-oriented databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. Participation in the design and maintenance of a coherent Design System. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing (JUnit + Mockito), and end-to-end testing. Skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Jest/ViteTest, and Vite. Contribute to continuous product quality improvement (coverage, SonarQube, SOLID, Yagni). Proficiency in DevOps workflows: GitLab CI/CD, containerization, and pipeline automation. Git version control applied according to best practices (branching, MR, code review). Participate in the entire software development cycle: design, development, deployment, and operation. Ensure ongoing maintenance and bug fixes for existing applications. Apply agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or equivalent university degree with a specialization in computer science, or equivalent significant experience. Over 7 years of experience in Java/React. Experience in the retail or mass distribution sector would be a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills: Good written and oral communication in French for smooth interactions with the business. Analytical mindset and continuous improvement. Ability to take a step back and see the bigger picture. Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards. Team spirit.
