Reporting to the SCRAP PREPARATION & TRANSFER MANAGER, you will be responsible for all activities related to sorting and classifying ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
In this role, your missions will be:
• Sort and classify ferrous and non-ferrous materials, while respecting performance objectives and quality, H&S, environmental, and energy requirements, as well as all regulatory and standard requirements associated with the products.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Environment, and Energy (QHSEE) rules;
• Ensure the availability and compliance of all safety equipment for individual and collective protection of employees;
• Sort waste according to its type (scrap metal, plastics, cardboard, etc.)
• Separate non-ferrous materials and plastics for their return to the truck, following sorting procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the reception area after each operation.
• Report any anomaly or non-compliance of received materials to the Team Leader
Required profile :
Technical diploma (Bac +2 level) maximum
• Design and improve maintenance procedures ;
• Knowledge of different types of materials and sorting procedures.
• Ability to use appropriate handling tools.
• Knowledge of integrated management systems (ISO 9001/45001/14001) and 50001.
