Responsibilities:

• Review of the results of managerial monitoring controls: completion rate, anomaly rate, review of significant anomalies, monitoring of their correction, etc. This analysis gives rise, if necessary, to the adjustment of the corrective action plans of the Division;
• Verification of certain controls, in order to assess:
  
  

The architecture of these controls: coverage of business risks, compliance with Group standards (in particular with the Normative Control Library), relevance of the control design, etc.

The quality of their execution: deadline, compliance with procedures, relevance of samples, frequency, quality of formalization, etc.

The quality of monitoring of identified anomalies

This work gives rise to the formulation of a qualified opinion on the effectiveness of first-level controls, on the scope considered. This opinion is documented, then presented and explained to the management of the scope concerned, in order to ultimately contribute to improving the quality of permanent control.

Skills:

With a Bac + 5 qualification in an engineering school or university education, supplemented by significant experience (minimum 3 years) in finance and investment banking professions (trading, financial products, etc.).

The candidate must also have a good knowledge of operational risks.

Mastery of VBA (Macros) would be a plus.

Specific context

The position requires a high degree of autonomy. Placed under the supervision of a hierarchical manager who defines the framework of his interventions and assists him in the event of difficulty, the operational risk controller has in the usual exercise of his mission the autonomy necessary to organize and conduct the work incumbent on him. It will be necessary to review if necessary the operating mode of the controls, to define the reporting formats, and to build the network of relations allowing the exercise of his control mission
