Job Overview: The Assessment Coordinator is responsible for the effective administration and proctoring of exams for teachers across grades 7-12. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students to ensure that all assessments are administered fairly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and proctor exams for students in a quiet, controlled environment on campus.
- Coordinate and schedule assessments in collaboration with teachers, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
- Ensure all exams are administered with integrity and in accordance with school policies.
- Maintain a well-organized system for tracking, storing, and distributing assessment materials.
- Assist teachers with any special assessment needs, such as accommodations for students with learning differences.
- Proctor standardized exams such as PSAT and NWEA MAP when required.
- Collaborate with school leadership to manage testing schedules and resolve any issues that arise during exam periods.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and students to ensure understanding of testing procedures and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- Experience in administering and coordinating assessments is an asset.
