Scope :
The Pricing Intern will work under the guidance of the Country Ocean Product Manager to support day-to-day pricing requests. Their primary focus will be on data handling and supporting pricing decisions across products and customers.
Responsibilities :
vCalculation & production of transport quotations in concert with product managervContact carriers and agents, send and follow the rate requests vSafeguard core carrier utilization in concert with the product vSupport the compilation of pricing data for tenders and help ensure all required inputs arecomplete and accuratevAssist in tracking carrier allocation in line with procurement guidelines. Qualifications/Experience
•Must have a High School diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.•No prior experience required, but any exposure to the freight forwarding or carrier industry (via coursework, internships, or projects) is a plus.•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, formulas, formatting).•Willingness to learn and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.•Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and team dynamics.•Professional, proactive, and eager to contribute in a team environment.•Basic understanding of professional telephone and email etiquette.•Good command of English.
