This role helps ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery and line leadership in manufacturing, by leading a key line of the business (technical, system or organizational) to deliver results defined by the compelling business need of the site. You ensure that key business results are achieved and for developing others to ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery on the manufacturing line. Using a systematic approach, you use strategic thinking skills to ensure results are sustained over the long term.
How you will contribute
In your likely first managerial role, you will ensure that Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members. Without you, we would not be able to deliver high-quality snacks to our customers.

JOB SCOPE
This position is accountable for planning, leading, organizing Production group, which will directly impact plant productivity, capacity, product quality and safety/health/environmental improvement.
Ensures all machineries, equipment, facilities and installation in production lines complied with statutory regulations. Company policy and Mondelez International Engineering standards to provide a safe working environment.
Other responsibilities including proactively optimizing costs to support Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) and business deliverables, as well as providing technical training for all associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Leads AM pillar in IL6S journey.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivers overall Sustainability, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale targets for the lines, units under responsibility; owns 24x7 results of the line/s and is responsible for budgeting and delivering on the budgets for the line;
Translates Section Targets into line and unit targets and deploys them to his/her team following Hoshin;
Ensures that each and every Mondelez employee in the team has specific and measurable individual targets, which are related to the line overall targets, and a clear understanding of what is expected from them, and documents it as a work plan for records;
Manages cost as the budgets, eliminates all losses, plans production and resources and is involved in recruitment for new team members.
Conducts regular PDCA with the team to plan how the targets are going to be achieved, executes the plan and periodically checks and takes necessary actions to stay on track
Runs the DMS cycle for his line/group of lines, owns DMS 3 and sets the 24-hour direction for the team;
Builds capability and develops the team regarding IL6S as well as other areas;
Does yearly performance reviews for direct reports and ensures that every individual has an active development plan in place, does regular 1:1 catch up with each team member to review performance and help them grow ;
Timely resolves issues in the line and for his organization timely and displays servant leadership doing so, manages the team in line with company's values and HPWS principles;
Represents the department in one or two plant pillars and drives the related work for the section;
Liaises with plant central resources and pillar teams to ensure that the team and line/lines are making progress for the plant and leads the IL6S implementation;'
Takes ownership of people systems at the line level like R&R, Team effectiveness and Succession planning;
Owns some of the IL6S systems (HS&E, Quality, and Cost) at the line level, owns a few systems at department/section level; and may also own a system or process at the plant level;
Spends more than 50% of the time on the core activities, in the line.
REQUIREMENTS:
University Degree in Engineering (Engineering, Science,...)
At least 3 years of experience in Food MNC Companies
Solid experience with TPM and other Integrated Lean Six Sigma pillars.
Strong production knowledge
Good leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Good presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent in root cause analysis and risk assessment
Ability to interpret line manning, line capacity, production planning
Be familiar with Computer software (MS Office, Outlook, MS Project, CAD)
