Job :
Medical Secretaries will be responsible for welcoming and informing patients, managing, entering, and filing information related to patient records.
1. Interpersonal and communication skills:
Reception and orientation:
- Welcome patients and their families, inform and guide them. Identify and assess the needs and expectations of patients and their families.
- Welcome the patient to the department and connect them with their nurse.
Interpersonal communication:
- Communicate with patients, families, medical teams, and different departments.
- Call management: Answer telephone calls and manage requests.
2. Administrative and organizational skills:
- Perform office tasks related to the department's needs.
- Information management:
- Update patient records, enter data, manage files to be archived.
- Verify administrative information concerning the patient.
- Prepare and verify the completeness of patient discharge files.
- Coordination:
- Coordinate activities with other departments (Finance, Imaging, Laboratory, etc.).
- Coordinate with other care and medical-technical services.
- Organization:
- Task planning, priority management.
3. Hospital-specific skills:
- Understanding the patient journey:
- Comprehension of the different stages of a patient's journey.
- Proficiency in IT tools:
- Use of hospital management software (HIS).
- Knowledge of administrative rules:
- Adherence to administrative procedures related to hospitalization.
- Enter data related to the department's activity, maintain activity dashboards.
Required profile :
Profile:
- Diploma in Specialized Technician in Business Management
- Experience between 2 and 5 years
- Proficiency in office tools
- Proficiency in reception and communication techniques
- Sense of organization
- Adaptability
