About CBS
The Chemical & Biochemical Sciences, Green Process Engineering (CBS) department is part of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). CBS aims to establish a distinctive, internationally recognized research and teaching program to address UM6P's challenges in research and education, particularly in green and environmental chemistry applied to all aspects of chemical sciences: organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical biology, and biochemical and thermal reactions.

Job Description
The Chemical & Biochemical Sciences, Green Process Engineering (CBS) department at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is recruiting a Postdoc specializing in heterogeneous catalysis. The candidate’s research activities will focus on synthesizing catalytic materials and testing heterogeneous catalysts for ammonia and green hydrogen synthesis. This position requires experience working with fixed-bed catalytic reactors, gas/solid, in continuous flow at high temperatures. Knowledge of gas-phase reaction product analysis using micro-GC and FTIR is also necessary. A general knowledge of material synthesis is required.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate should be able to:
- Design, develop, and validate an experimental catalytic measurement setup
- Conduct conversion measurements at both laboratory and industrial scales
- Synthesize and develop new catalytic materials
- Characterize catalysts before and after reactions
- Write reports and publications
Candidate Profile
- PhD in catalytic processes or equivalent in a relevant field
- Relevant experience in conducting catalytic tests
- Experience in analyzing gas-phase products using chromatographic techniques and FTIR

Description Du Poste
Le département Chemical & Biochemical Sciences. Green Process Engineering (CBS) à l’Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique recrute un Postdoc spécialisé en catalyse hétérogène. Les activités de recherche du candidat porteront sur la synthèse des matériaux catalytiques et tests de catalyseurs hétérogènes dans la synthèse d’ammoniac et d’hydrogène vert. Ce poste nécessite une expérience de travail avec réacteur catalytique à til fixe, gaz/solide, en flux continus à haute température. Une connaissance d’analyse de produits de réaction, en phase gaz, par micro-GC et FTIR est aussi nécessaire. Une connaissance au niveau de la synthèse des matériaux en généra est requises.
Principales Taches
Le candidat retenu doit avoir la capacitée de:
- Conception, réalisation et validation d’un banc de mesure catalytique expérimental
- Réalisation des mesures de conversion, l’échelle laboratoire et à l’échelle industriel
- Synthèse et développement de nouveau matériaux catalytiques
- Caractérisation des catalyseurs avant et après réaction
- Rédaction de rapports e des publications.
Profil Du/de La Candidat( E)
- Être titulaire d’un diplôme de doctorat (PhD) en procédé catalytique ou l’équivalent dans un domaine pertinent.
- Posséder une expérience pertinente dans la réalisation des tests catalytiques
- Démontrer une expérience dans l’analyse des produits en phase gaz par techniques chromatographiques et par FTIR
- Être en mesure de développer des procédés d’évaluation de matériaux solides
- Être en mesure de rédiger des rapports scientifiques
- Démontrer une aptitude pour le travail en équipe.
- Avoir une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais,
