As the Regional Training and Support Lead, you will be at the forefront of empowering our advanced customers and partners in North, West, and Central Africa, equipping them with the knowledge and support necessary to make a profound impact in the fight against TB and HIV.Position Summary:As the Regional Training and Support Lead, you will deliver advanced training to key stakeholders, including Super Users from National TB and HIV programs across French-speaking countries in North, West, and Central Africa. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and monitoring post-training activities, ensuring that our initiatives lead to sustainable and impactful outcomes. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Channel partners and their Field Application Specialists, providing expert guidance and assistance during targeted field interventions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Customer Training: Lead comprehensive Train-the-Trainer sessions for advanced users within National TB and HIV programs, ensuring they are fully equipped to leverage Cepheid’s cutting-edge diagnostic solutions.
  • Guideline Development and Sharing: Provide expert advice to customers and Channel Partners on establishing local guidelines, and share best practices and successful roll-out experiences from other regions to enhance GENXpert system integration.
  • Field Application Specialist Leadership: Mentor and lead Field Application members from Channel Partners, ensuring they have the expertise to train and support customers effectively.
  • Capability Development: Identify and address the training needs of Field Application Specialists, implementing strategies to continuously enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee and ensure the monitoring of regional activities, using key performance indicators to evaluate the success and impact of Field Application Channel Partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Play a key role in cross-functional projects, including the creation of training documentation and other initiatives aimed at advancing Cepheid’s mission.
  • Customer Support Coordination: Enhance the customer support experience by fostering seamless communication with the Customer Care group, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer needs.
  • Strategic Alignment: Cultivate strong relationships with regional Business Managers to align on key priorities, share best practices, and achieve operational goals.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or participate in strategic projects that contribute to the growth and development of Cepheid’s High Burden Developing Countries (HBDC) and Commercial business, such as Go-To-Market strategies, tactical plan development, and channel partner initiatives.

• Excellent French written and verbal communication. Excellent presentation skills.


• Ability to also train in English is a plus (Desirable) in order to back up trainers in other regions.
