Key Responsibilities / You Will Get To

Support the client with actuarial and statistical expertise in the context of valuation, reserving or pricing activities. You will be providing or supporting the production of:

• Advanced financial models, for example regarding the interplay between performance of investments and liabilities to policyholders.
• Predictive models, for example for client behaviour, biometric parameters or the occurrence of claims to insurance policies.
• Analysis of complex datasets for the purpose of extracting business relevant information, such as the detection of trends in policyholder behaviour or inflation.
• Production of key figures for the balance sheets of the client company under various modern and international accounting regimes such as Solvency II and IFRS17.
  
  

Key Requirements

• University degree or masters in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or similar.
• University degree or masters in Economics with a strong, evidenced quantitative profile will also be considered.
• Business fluent in French and English. Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian or German is a plus.
• Interest in financial modelling and willingness to pursue actuarial qualification with a recognized actuarial society.
• Any cleared actuarial exams with a recognized actuarial society are a plus.
• Strong team-working skills, also in a remote working context.
