Job :
Within an IT subsidiary of a large banking group, the PMO supports project management and technical teams in the steering, governance, and successful execution of strategic programs.
Main missions:
1. Project steering and monitoring
- Set up and monitor project plans (schedule, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies).
- Monitor project progress in coordination with project managers and technical teams.
- Identify deviations, alert stakeholders, and propose corrective action plans.
- Contribute to the standardization of project management practices within the subsidiary.
2. Governance & meeting facilitation
- Prepare, organize, and lead steering meetings (project committees, steering committees, technical committees...).
- Produce and present necessary materials: dashboards, summaries, KPIs, analyses.
- Ensure follow-up of decisions and actions from committees, and ensure their implementation.
3. Reporting & performance
- Develop and maintain regular reports for management (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Set up performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure their monitoring.
- Consolidate information from various projects into an overall portfolio view.
4. Quality & continuous improvement
- Ensure the application of project methodologies (classic or agile depending on the context).
- Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes (templates, repositories, tools).
- Support teams in implementing best PMO practices.
Required profile :
- Master's degree (engineering school, university, or equivalent) in IT, project management, or a related field.
- Between 5 and 8 years of experience as a PMO, ideally in the banking sector or within an IT department.
- Proven experience in facilitating committees, managing complex projects, and producing management reports.
