Reporting to the Directorate of Educational Affairs, the main missions of a researcher are:
- Ensure continuous scientific and pedagogical monitoring of research and innovations in early childhood. - Actively participate in collaborative projects with the Foundation's entities to strengthen action research and innovation in early childhood. - Conduct in-depth and meticulous literature reviews, drawing on relevant scientific references on early childhood topics (0-6 years), respecting citation standards and avoiding any form of plagiarism. Conception and execution: - Identify and formulate relevant research issues by cross-referencing data from the field with advances in scientific literature on early childhood (0-6 years). - Develop adapted research protocols, taking into account the specificities of early childhood. - Collect and analyze qualitative and/or quantitative data (interviews with children, parents, educators; observations). Data analysis and interpretation: - Analyze and evaluate, based on empirical data and scientific research, the impact of various factors (family, social, educational), as well as pedagogical approaches, on the child's cognitive, emotional, and social development. - Analyze the behaviors, interactions, and educational environments of children within the framework of observations and action research. Scientific production: - Publish scientific articles and reports aimed at enriching the body of knowledge on early childhood. - Provide recommendations based on research to improve policies related to the education, health, and protection of young children. - Participate in the drafting of quarterly and annual pedagogical publication reports.
Participation and facilitation of conferences and scientific events: - Participate in facilitating workshops, conferences, and round tables in the field of early childhood. - Represent FMPS at international conferences and symposiums, as well as seminars to share research results. Management of pilot experimentation and evaluation projects: - Study the effectiveness of educational and pedagogical innovation approaches. - Develop study protocols and evaluation tools adapted to early childhood and the research projects implemented. - Propose areas for improvement based on research results and experimentation.
Required profile :
- Holder of a Master's degree, Bac+5 in social sciences, educational sciences, or a related field (psychology, educational economics, sociology...); - Enrolled in the 2nd year of a doctorate in educational sciences, psychology, sociology, or any other relevant field related to education; - Experience in the field of early childhood is desirable.
