As part of digital transformation projects and information system evolution, the Business Analyst Tester acts as the interface between the business departments, technical teams, and quality assurance.
They are responsible for the functional analysis of needs and the validation of delivered solutions through testing activities.
Main Missions:
1. Business & Functional Analysis
Gather and analyze the needs of business stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops to define and clarify needs
- Write functional deliverables:
- Requirements
- Functional specifications (general and detailed)
- User Stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure functional consistency between business needs and the target solution
- Support the Product Owner in backlog prioritization
2. Test & Validation Activities
- Define the functional testing strategy
- Write test plans, test cases, and scenarios
- Prepare test data sets
- Execute tests:
- - Functional tests
- - Non-regression tests
- - User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
- Identify, qualify, and track defects (bug tracking)
- Verify defect correction
- Participate in business acceptance testing and final validation of deliverables
3. Coordination & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between business departments, developers, and QA
- Participate in Agile rituals (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review, retrospective)
- Provide progress reports (analysis, testing, risks)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes
Responsibilities

Required profile :
Master's degree (in IT, Information Systems, Engineering School, or equivalent)
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Tester, or hybrid BA/Tester
Experience in an Agile environment (JIRA and XRAY)
