Job :
As a Technical Buyer, you will be responsible for direct technical purchases (spare parts, OPEX), CAPEX projects, and maintenance contracts. You will analyze technical needs, propose alternative solutions, and optimize cost, quality, delivery time, and security of supply criteria, in close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
Technical Purchases & Needs Management
- Carry out technical purchases of spare parts, equipment, maintenance contracts, industrial supplies, and investments
- Manage purchases related to maintenance work, CAPEX projects, and investments
- Purchase mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluid, and technical consumable parts
- Analyze technical needs and propose alternative solutions
- Manage purchase requests via SAP (purchasing relay, item management)
Sourcing, Negotiation & Contracting
- Select suppliers and launch price requests and tenders
- Prepare comparisons, negotiate, and contract
- Ensure compliance with contractual clauses and supplier commitments
- Establish and manage the administrative follow-up of contracts and orders
- Approve invoices from foreign suppliers
Supplier Performance & Optimization
- Rate product-supplier pairs according to ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Health and Safety, and CSR requirements
- Propose optimization projects for purchasing categories
- Participate in approval processes with relevant departments
- Monitor the Ecovadis aspect with service providers
- Manage technical non-conformities and supplier disputes
Internal Coordination & Operational Management
- Coordinate meetings with internal clients and suppliers
- Manage priorities related to emergencies and supply deadlines
- Ensure supplier follow-up
- Contribute to production continuity and security of supply
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Integrate quality, food safety, Health and Safety, and CSR requirements into the purchasing process
- Update quality procedures and instructions for the purchasing process
- Apply and enforce 5S standards within your scope
Required profile :
Profile Sought
With a Master's degree (Bac+5) in purchasing or a technical field, you have at least 5 years of experience in technical purchasing or technical and project management. You have mastered purchasing methods and techniques, negotiation, cost analysis, and budget management. You have a good understanding of the market, regulations, and legal aspects related to purchasing documents. Proficient with office tools and the SAP purchasing module, you understand the different technical areas related to purchasing categories (packaging, raw materials, technical equipment).
