Main responsibilities
1. Management of the purchasing portfolio
• Identify non-production purchasing needs in coordination with internal departments (production, maintenance, logistics, etc.).
• Establish and update the non-production supplier database.
2. Supplier research and evaluation
• Launch calls for tenders, analyze commercial and technical proposals.
• Evaluate suppliers based on their performance (quality, costs, deadlines, reliability).
3. Negotiation
• Negotiate prices, contractual conditions, deadlines, and service clauses.
• Ensure continuous optimization of purchasing costs (cost saving/cost avoidance).
4. Order and supply tracking
• Place purchase orders and ensure their compliance (quantity, price, deadline).
• Create suppliers in the Benteler system
• Track delivery times and manage any disputes.
• Ensure the continuity of the supply chain.
5. Contractual and administrative management
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and internal governance rules.
6. Analysis and reporting
• Enter non-production purchasing performance indicators.
• Monitor market trends and developments
• Prepare regular reports for the Purchasing Manager.

Education
• Bachelor's degree to Master's degree: Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Management, Engineering.
Experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience in purchasing (industry experience required, ideally in the automotive sector)
Technical skills
• Mastery of negotiation techniques.
• Knowledge of supplier markets and purchasing tools (ERP/SAP, supplier databases, etc.).
• Very good understanding of Supply Chain processes.
• Mastery of Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in French and English
