Job :
Reporting to the Racing Department, your main mission will be to ensure the design and implementation of development projects related to equestrian infrastructure (excluding buildings) for the Sector, while respecting deadlines, costs, and current regulatory standards, and to ensure optimal management of all the sites in the sector.
As such, your main activities will be:
Manage site needs
- Define the needs of the Sector's sites: racecourses, training centers and Stud Farms in terms of construction, redevelopment, equipment, maintenance, etc., and ensure their reporting
- Define priorities in consultation with the manager of equestrian sites and propose action plans
- Establish estimated budgets for projects to be implemented
Ensure the realization of preliminary studies
- Study the technical feasibility of the project, taking into account its structure and the resources to be implemented for its realization in consultation with design offices
- Estimate the realization costs based on the provisional budgets of the projects
- Carry out studies and prepare project specifications
- Participate in the selection of materials and the definition of processes and methods required for the execution of work, respecting regulatory standards (quality, safety, environment)
- Establish work execution schedules
Ensure the realization of projects
- Study the technical details of the project and define the execution plan
- Plan the operational realization of the project
- Coordinate the actions of project stakeholders
- Ensure the interface with external stakeholders
- Ensure the proper execution of the project at each stage, in accordance with the company's quality policy
- Guarantee the technical feasibility of the project, adherence to deadlines and costs of the work
- Provide support to service providers in case of malfunctions such as breakdowns or contractual disputes
Ensure the monitoring and reporting of activities within your scope
- Contribute to and take charge of the technical and budgetary monitoring of the project (construction or redevelopment)
- Communicate on the progress of the different project phases through regular reports
- Ensure the follow-up of payments
Ensure the Management and Operation of Sites
- Develop and validate preventive site schedules in consultation with FM
- Develop and validate schedules for the maintenance of equestrian surfaces (tracks, arenas, etc.) in consultation with site managers and responsible persons
- Develop KPIs for activity monitoring
- Ensure the execution of all preventive maintenance schedules and the maintenance of equestrian surfaces.
- Provide monthly and weekly reports on the sector's site activities.
Required profile :
As a potential candidate, you:
- Are a graduate of an Engineering School with a specialization in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally in road works and earthworks.
- Are able to plan and organize activities
- Have mastered project management, procurement, logistics, inventory and equipment management
- Are comfortable in the technical environment of AutoCad, Covadis, GIS
- Have ethical behavior, team spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Are compliant and rigorous
- Have a practical sense (field experience)
- Are able to manage teams
