The main objective of the Logistics Manager is to supervise and optimize all physical operations of the BRICOMA logistics center: reception, storage, preparation, and dispatch. They ensure the efficiency of flows, operational performance, stock reliability, and compliance with quality and safety standards. They act as a conductor for human, material, and technical logistics resources.
Missions:
Reporting to the General Management, your main missions will be:
• Manage all logistics flows of the center and ensure the proper execution of schedules:
o Supervise incoming flows (local and import supplier receipts).
o Manage outgoing flows (transfers to stores and between stores, supplier returns).
o Ensure compliance with delivery schedules and processing times.
o Monitor anomalies, disputes, and stock discrepancies.
o Implement performance indicators (KPIs)
• Manage operational teams and ensure their skill development:
o Define staffing needs according to workload (seasonality, peaks, etc.).
o Allocate resources based on activity.
o Supervise, motivate, train, and lead teams to ensure productivity and quality.
• Coordinate interfaces with purchasing, transport, IT, subsidiaries, and BRICOMA sales stores:
o Manage daily priorities according to commercial urgency or supplier constraints.
o Coordinate with the transport department for deliveries to stores.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and the efficiency of logistics infrastructure.
o Ensure compliance with HSE standards in the warehouse.
o Supervise quality controls upon receipt and dispatch.
o Manage disputes with suppliers or stores (discrepancies, damage, delays, etc.).
o Monitor performance indicators.
Promote activity reviews and preventive and corrective action plans.
• Optimize processes and actively contribute to the implementation of the WMS
o Establish and evolve procedures for reception, storage, preparation, and dispatch.
Ensure the implementation of the WMS and its proper use.
Propose areas for continuous improvement.
Required profile :
• Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in logistics, supply chain, transport, or equivalent.
• You have at least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a logistics center or large retail environment.
• You have a strong command of logistics chain principles, warehouse organization, stock management, and inventory counts.
• You have strong knowledge of QHSE and logistics safety standards.
• You have a strong command of logistics tools (WMS, ERP, advanced Excel). WMS Speed is a considerable asset.
• You have knowledge of international customs/logistics regulations.
• You distinguish yourself by your field leadership and ability to unite teams.
• You are rigorous with good analytical and synthesis skills.
• You are organized and reactive to unforeseen events.
• You have a good ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks.
