We are looking for a Process Engineer to help grow and integrate the processes for turning waste into value, specifically for hydrometallurgy and material synthesis.
Key Responsibilities
· Process Design & Scale-Up: Turn lab experiments into reliable pilot-scale processes for recovering vanadium and silicates; design and improve reactor setups; set up mass and energy balances and operating ranges.
· Engineering Documentation & Industrial Integration: Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and help with P&IDs; define equipment needs; assess integration possibilities with industrial partners.
· Techno-Economic & Environmental Assessment: Help with technical and economic analysis; take part in environmental and sustainability reviews; make sure safety and environmental rules are followed.
· Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with researchers, technicians, and outside partners; attend project meetings; write technical reports and help with technology transfer.
Required profile :
Required Qualifications
· Engineering degree (5 years of study / State Engineer) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
· Experience in chemical process design and scale-up (hydrometallurgy, inorganic chemistry, or similar) is highly desired.
· Familiarity with process simulation tools (like Aspen Plus, COMSOL, or similar) is a plus.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn experimental data into engineering specifications.
· Excellent skills in teamwork, communication, and organization.
