The S&OP Manager plays an essential role in aligning production plans with commercial objectives, optimizing resource use, and meeting customer demand. This position involves developing and managing the master production schedule, coordinating cross-functional teams, and leading the S&OP process to effectively balance supply and demand.





Main responsibilities:




• Master Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain a master production schedule aligned with forecasted demand, inventory objectives, and capacity constraints.
• S&OP Process Management: Lead the monthly S&OP process and facilitate cross-functional meetings with sales, marketing, production, supply chain, and finance departments to reach a consensus on a single, achievable plan.
• Supply and Demand Analysis: Analyze demand forecasts and supply capabilities to identify imbalances, propose solutions, and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate different departments to gather input, communicate schedules, and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) functions, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Risk Management: Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions to production schedules due to unforeseen events.






Required profile :


Required qualifications and skills:




• Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or S&OP in an industrial environment.






• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with scheduling software.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.




• Certifications: APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are a plus.





Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)




• Forecast Accuracy: Measure the accuracy of demand forecasts against actual sales.
• Schedule Adherence: Track adherence to the master production schedule.
• Inventory Turnover: Monitor the rate at which inventory is used and replenished.
• On-Time Delivery: Evaluate the percentage of orders delivered on or before the scheduled date.
• Production Efficiency: Assess the efficiency of production processes against set targets.
