Job :

Within the Cloud Platform Department, you will support Orange France's internal clients for the fixed network for employees, stores, and technical sites.




The Project Manager's mission is to lead the deployment of equipment and infrastructure necessary for the network's availability.




• Lead projects:





  • Definition of processes for carrying out tasks related to network availability for specific projects

  • Creation and management of the internal project team made up of different business units

  • Request for resource allocation from different unit managers

  • Tracking of resources allocated to the project

  • Planning, coordination, and monitoring of network deployment work to ensure it is perfectly aligned with various affiliated sites if applicable

  • Participate in steering committees and site meetings

  • Monitoring orders and supply of equipment (OLT, WiFi AP, Switch, etc.) and services (operator links, network access, etc.),

  • Manage project costs

  • Validation of work phases and infrastructure availability

  • Identify ancillary network needs (business, digital, etc.)

  • Ensure compliance with security recommendations

  • Handle and escalate issues not covered by contributors, if necessary

  • Validate project milestones through project committee and validation committee meetings




• Communicate with project stakeholders:





  • Gathering and analyzing client needs

  • Cross-functional leadership and coordination of different business units to meet client needs (fiber optic cabling infrastructure, operator links, network, Wi-Fi, telephony, digital, access control, indoor mobile coverage, etc.),

  • Provide weekly reporting on project activity

  • Participate and report on client actions during progress meetings organized by clients




• Lead the production activity for management links:





  • Oversee the processing of requests for creation and modification of management links

  • Ensure compliance with commitments and the successful execution (KPIs) of the production team's activities

  • Maintain client relations in case of problems

  • Handle escalations

  • Report on activities to feed a monthly steering committee

  • Manage continuous improvement and evolution of production processes




• Set up the production activity





  • Your first project will be to set up the takeover of management link production activities by a new team (estimated duration of 3 to 6 months).

  • You will be responsible for ensuring or supervising the skills transfer from the outgoing provider to the new provider (training, team skill development, governance, etc.)


• Your responsibilities:





  • Serve as the client's primary point of contact for the project

  • Provide reporting on the perimeter's activity (KPIs)

  • Identify and support the client through their difficulties

  • Presentation of LPM stages to the committee

  • Weekly project monitoring (highlights, etc.)

  • Monthly monitoring of management link production activity


Required profile :

  • You have experience in project management, from requirement definition to operational handover & supervision, including deployment, while ensuring the organization of steering committees with relevant stakeholders

  • You have knowledge of corporate networks, WAN, LAN

  • You have a proven ability to deliver within the requested deadlines

  • You demonstrate rigor and method

  • You have good interpersonal skills that allow you to foster cooperation within your project teams and you know how to manage potential conflicts

  • You can write presentations or reports concisely and appropriately for the audience

  • You communicate with impact to all types of stakeholders at all hierarchical levels

  • You have listening skills and a focus on client satisfaction





Essential skills:





  • Project management, Cross-functional management, and Priority management

  • Writing meeting minutes, reports, technical articles

  • Knowledge of networks and telecommunications

  • Knowledge of IP networks (switches, routers, etc.)

  • Knowledge of security principles and network architecture

  • Ability to present/report to the client

  • Autonomy in actions





Desirable skills:





  • Project management certifications (CAPM, Prince 2, etc.)
