ABOUT THE ROLE :
Ensure the efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments in line with DHL operational standards in order to meet network transit times, safety, quality and customer service requirements.
The role also includes Pickup & Delivery activities, contributing to a high level of service excellence across warehouse, gateway and last-mile operations.
YOUR TASKS :
- Perform inbound and outbound warehouse operations including sorting, loading, unloading, scanning and shipment preparation according to DHL procedures.
- Handle shipments within the Gateway (GTW) while ensuring compliance with network and security standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely scanning of all consignments to maintain shipment visibility and data integrity.
- Support flight, ramp, shuttle and warehouse activities as required by operational needs.
- Deliver inbound shipments and collect outbound shipments within agreed service timelines.
- Ensure the safety, security and integrity of shipments during handling, transportation and delivery.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and DHL driving standards.
- Manage undelivered shipments (UNDL) and report issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety of the warehouse and operational areas (5S).
- Test operational equipment before use and report any malfunction or safety hazard immediately.
- Work closely with supervisors, team leaders and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Cooperate with customs authorities and other external stakeholders when required.
- Prepare daily operational reports and support network tracing requests.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety & Environment (H&S) policies and report incidents or near-miss events on the same day.*
YOUR PROFILE :
*BAC +2 minimum.
Valid driving license B & C.
Minimum 1 year of driving experience; experience in logistics, transport or operations is an asset.
Good command of French, spoken and written.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, operational scanning systems).
