Chemistry Teacher
Location: Rabat, Morocco
Start Date: August
Contract: Full-time
Our client, a well-established international school in Rabat, is seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Chemistry to join its academic team. The successful candidate will teach Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level Chemistry within a structured, high-achieving environment that values academic excellence, scientific inquiry, and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry at IGCSE, AS, and A Level (Cambridge International Curriculum).
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons across organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry.
- Plan and conduct laboratory experiments in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental collaboration.
- Support the wider life of the school through extracurricular and enrichment activities.
- Uphold safeguarding, pastoral, and professional responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS and A Level Chemistry.
- Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory experience.
- Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing, academic achievement, and continuous professional development.
