As part of our business development, we are looking for a Senior COBOL Software Engineer to join our teams and work on high-value, strategic projects. You will work in a complex mainframe environment and participate in the development, maintenance, and optimization of critical applications supporting our clients' business activities.

Your Mission

• Design, develop and maintain COBOL applications within Mainframe equipment.
• Carry out technical developments and upgrades while respecting quality and performance standards.
• Analyze business needs and propose solutions tailored to functional and technical challenges.
• Participate in the testing, acceptance and production phases.
• Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for existing applications.
• To intervene in production incidents and contribute to their resolution.
• Collaborating with business teams, functional analysts and various technical teams to ensure a high level of service quality.
• Write and maintain the technical documentation associated with the developments carried out.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of application processes, performance and reliability.

Your Profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Significant experience in COBOL development.
• Good command of IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environments.
• Solid knowledge of JCL, DB2 and CICS.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose sustainable solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills, autonomy and team spirit.
• Experience in the banking, insurance or financial services sectors is an asset.
