DOSM - Director of Sales & Marketing
CØMPΛNIUM Hospitality is an Executive Search, specialised on Executive positions within the Hospitality industry, for top luxury hotel brands.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a DOSM for a luxury hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Job Overview:
As the DOSM, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase brand awareness for their luxury hotel in Marrakesh.
You will oversee a team of sales and marketing professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving our goals.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Requirements
- French / English speakers
- Experience in luxury hotel groups as DOSM
- Experience with all Sales segments, especially Leisure High-end
- Experience in a luxury International resort
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase brand awareness
- Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Work closely with other departments, including revenue management, operations, and finance, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to sales and marketing efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and competition
- Plan and execute sales and marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and special events
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing data to track performance and make adjustments as needed
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management on sales and marketing efforts and results
- Manage the sales and marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to achieve goals
- Stay up-to-date on the latest sales and marketing techniques and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, in the luxury hospitality industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies
- Experience managing a team and working collaboratively with other departments
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of the Marrakesh / Morocco market and luxury hotel industry is a plus
