Job :
Reporting to the Commercial Department, your main mission will be to explore, analyze, and use all commercial data to provide reliable information for performance monitoring and decision-making support. You will also be the data reference within the commercial team, responding to all its data needs in a relevant and responsive manner. As such, your main activities will be:
Identifying and exploring data
- Identify all business-related data regardless of its source or database;
- Regularly classify data with a precise and up-to-date hierarchy and themes;
- Identify all issues related to the collection, access, and qualification of current and future data;
- Collect all data and information needs from different entities and ensure their updates;
- Identify all data to be explored for better decision-making in the medium and long term.
Using data and supporting decision-making
- Organize and make all identified and processed data usable;
- Design all technical tools to make data usable by the Commercial Department;
- Produce tools and indicators that assist the Department in decision-making;
- Build predictive models of future commercial performance and customer behavior;
- Implement the necessary processes for the use of processed data.
Valuing and sustaining data
- Be the custodian of all Commercial Department data;
- Ensure interactions with other entities to feed the Department's databases;
- Permanently guarantee the reliability, consistency, and resilience of data and systems;
- Simplify data usage for the entire Commercial Department team.
Technological watch
- Recommend useful systems and tools for salespeople;
- Participate in the various evolutions and developments of the Department's systems and platforms;
- Ensure and optimize the use of sales force tools;
- Monitor various technological developments to offer the Department the best tools on the market;
- Monitor the alignment between needs and tools made available to salespeople.
Required profile :
As a potential candidate:
You have a Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+4/5) (engineering school or equivalent) in IT, mathematics, or management, and you have a minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, SQL, etc.
- Good knowledge of databases: MySQL, etc.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks using appropriate tools.
- Strong data analysis and processing skills.
- Good understanding of commercial and sales processes.
- Rigor in handling figures and data.
