Job :
Reporting to the Member of the Executive Board in charge of Medical Affairs, Care, Teaching, Research, and Accommodation, the Director of Medical Affairs defines and implements the hospital's medical policy, while ensuring the quality and safety of care. They manage medical teams, as well as the strategic and operational direction of the hospital's medical component.
Manage the Medical Affairs Department:
- Manage the teams of the department and the directors of medical specialties: organization, motivation, and evaluation.
- Oversee the activity of medical departments and develop internal contracting.
- Manage and lead the project with all hospital teams.
- Coordinate the implementation of recommendations from management and consultation bodies relating to the operation of services or medical strategy and participate in their meetings (Medical Committee of the Establishment (CME), Committee for Drugs and Sterile Medical Devices (CMDMS), Committee for the Control of Healthcare-Associated Infections (CLIN), etc.).
- Develop the annual continuing education plan for doctors.
- Promote the image of HUIR through the quality of its services, innovative approaches, and professional expertise.
Participate in the development and implement the medical project:
- Advise, inform, and report to the Delegate General Director, member of the executive board: care, medical affairs, teaching, research, and innovation.
- Participate in the development of the medical project in line with the strategic project.
- Implement the medical project and contribute to the achievement of its objectives.
- Develop dashboards and an annual report on medical activity.
- Ensure strategic, technical, and regulatory health monitoring.
Participate in the design and optimization of medical organizations in conjunction with the Nursing Department and Specialty Directors:
- Oversee the match between medical needs and resources.
- Participate in the design and optimization of medico-care organizational models.
- Participate in the design and optimization of medico-care pathways.
- Promote the quality of services in accordance with best practice recommendations and medical standards.
- Participate in the development of the quality management program.
- Promote relations with users and their representatives for better satisfaction of expectations.
- Coordinate the development of semi-annual and annual activity reports.
- Preserve the health and safety at work of HUIR staff.
Manage medical staff in conjunction with the Human Capital Department and the University:
- Manage medical human resources in conjunction with the Human Capital Department.
- Recruit doctors, pharmacists, and biologists, both university and non-university.
- Participate in the prospective management of jobs and skills and the administrative management of doctors, pharmacists, and biologists.
- Ensure the training and evaluation of professional practices of doctors.
Implement the medical cooperation policy with other medical and university structures:
- Develop agreements for common structures, partnerships, or physician secondments.
- Organize multidisciplinary meetings such as Multidisciplinary Consultation Meetings (RCP) for oncology.
- Promote clinical research internally and with other national and international institutions.
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of health emergency plans.
