Job :


Job Missions: 




- The VSE analyst examines in detail the loan analysis and documentation to provide an opinion on the completeness of the file, and the quality and reliability of the data.
- Ensure the balance between the commercial drive of the branches and the requirements for a good risk analysis of a loan. Eliminate bias from a field agent by analyzing the consistency of the information provided (while considering the difficulties of collecting quality documents).





Main Activities:





1. Verification and analysis of credit files:  





  • Ensure the completeness, consistency, and quality of credit analyses within deadlines.

  • Verify the conformity of entered information (templates, system, client documents) and its consistency with financial results.

  • Analyze financial statements (balance sheet, cash flow, CDR, formal and informal account statements).

  • Evaluate the market and activity sector situation of the client.

  • Identify, analyze, and assess loan-related risks.

  • Responsible for verifying VSE loan files.



2. Ensuring file completeness before committee review:





  • Verify the existence, validity, and authenticity of required legal and administrative documents.

  • Check the coverage and relevance of guarantees.

  • Formalize verifications using a checklist and report missing documents to the committee.



3. Portfolio monitoring and quality:





  • Monitor portfolio quality and identify risks and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure the balance between in-depth analysis, cost control, and commercial opportunities.



4. Benchmarking and evaluation:





  • Contribute to the creation and updating of sectoral benchmarks (margins, stock turnover, expenses by activity, region, or cohort).

  • Evaluate guarantees by monitoring market prices (vehicles, machinery, land, premises, etc.).

  • Indicate whether guarantees are undervalued or overvalued based on reliable benchmarks.



5. Training and continuous improvement:  





  • Actively participate in internal training and apply learned skills in daily practices.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk analysis tools and methods.




Required profile :


Education:





  • Bachelor's degree (Bac + 3) minimum in management, economics, or finance



Experience:





  • 2 years in the service sector (banking/insurance), preferably in microfinance, with field experience to understand the entrepreneurial realities of the VSE segment


 Business / Technical Expertise:  





  • Basic knowledge in Management and notions in accounting and finance

  • Financial Analysis Skills: financial analysis of a loan and risk assessment (creation of client business plans)

  • Knowledge of necessary documents for different types of businesses



Organizational and Management Skills:





  • Oral communication, communication skills, Arabic and French reading and writing

  • Proficiency in office software

  • Proficiency in the operating modes of the IS used

  • Time Management: organization and rigor in managing priorities and different tasks of the CP (administrative, commercial, etc.)

  • Attention to detail
