We are looking for an Environmental and Social Expert to join our Global Risk Management (GRM) department. If you are motivated and wish to grow in a stimulating environment, this opportunity is for you!
Your mission:
As an Environmental and Social Expert, you will lead the environmental and social assessments of client projects. You will assist the GRM and commercial network teams in deploying the Environmental and Social (E&S) risk management system in the bank's credit activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical support in analyzing projects financed by the bank to optimally consider environmental and social aspects.
• Assessing, supporting, analyzing, and monitoring the environmental and social assessment processes of financed clients.
• Identifying and measuring the environmental and social risks associated with financing and defining environmental and social commitments.
• Contributing to the operational implementation of the environmental and social risk management system for the bank's credit activities and ensuring its follow-up.
• Training teams on environmental and social assessment; developing guides, methodological frameworks, etc.
• Participating in harmonizing the bank's practices with the requirements of funders and regulators, as well as with international debates and initiatives.
Required profile : • A Master's degree (Bac+5) in environment, sustainable development, CSR, or sustainable finance from an engineering or business school. You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• You have the ability to analyze and model environmental and social risks in project financing.
• You are dynamic, rigorous, autonomous, and a team player.
