Job :

We are looking for a competent, dynamic, and leader-minded Health Manager Dialysis/Medicine, who cares about the patient, to join the Directorate of Care and Hospital Hygiene at HUIR. He/she will be responsible for organizing the continuity and quality of care within the departments, as well as the human and material resources necessary for the activities and objectives of each pole.




His/her main missions will focus on the following areas:





1. Quality of care







  • The pole care manager will drive a culture of quality and safety of care among the department heads and teams of the various poles and will evaluate paramedical professional practices.

  • The care coordinator will develop a prospective vision of the activity and needs of each pole:

  • Organizes the continuity of care

  • Monitors and controls activity using internal and institutional indicators

  • Readjusts human and material resources based on activity, in collaboration with department heads

  • Coordinates the services of the multidisciplinary paramedical team

  • Evaluates protocols and procedures in a continuous quality improvement process

  • Establishes conditions for reception and stay that respect patient rights

  • Coordinates, in conjunction with department heads, responses to management regarding patient and user complaints and grievances

  • Contributes to the evolution of information systems, the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of their applications



2. Management of paramedical human resources





  • Contributes to the implementation of an efficient work organization

  • Develops the attractiveness of the various poles and contributes to staff retention

  • Contributes to analyzing the causes of and combating delays and absenteeism

  • Identifies the core competencies for quality patient care

  • Promotes the development of versatility and mobility within each pole and between poles

  • Ensures the maintenance and development of skills within their sector

  • Justifies or reduces target staffing levels in line with activity

  • Monitors workload and staffing calculations to propose modifications in response to changes

  • Controls the application of institutional rules in personnel management by department heads

  • Manages conflict situations within the poles

  • Manages occupational risks in conjunction with the Occupational Physician, the operational hygiene team, and the pole medical directors

  • Participates in the recruitment of paramedical staff (interview, theoretical evaluation, and practical evaluation of the candidate at the care unit level)

  • Monitors and updates staffing allocation and deployment charts



3. Training of nursing staff







  • Identifies training needs of staff based on profiles

  • Participates in the development of the annual training plan in collaboration with the training manager and the human capital department

  • Plans and disseminates training

  • Manages logistics, implementation, and monitoring of the training plan with the human capital department

  • Evaluates training and learning in collaboration with pole care managers

  • Prepares the annual report of training activities within the pole



4. Management of resources and equipment







  • Organizes the inventory of needs for equipment and participates in their prioritization

  • Ensures, in collaboration with the biomedical team, the maintenance and proper use of equipment

  • Ensures the optimization of material resources

  • Ensures the use of tools (electronic patient records, traceability, etc.)



5. Relations - Communication





  • In collaboration with the Pole Medical Director, the pole care manager:

  • Implements an intra- and inter-pole communication policy

  • Manages, processes, and transmits upstream and downstream information for proper care

  • Promotes the creation and development of a spirit of collaboration and belonging

  • Encourages inter-pole exchange projects to enrich practices, knowledge, and develop versatility

  • Prepares and leads pole meetings

  • Drafts and transmits the pole's activity report

  • Communicates and values relevant initiatives and projects (individual and collective)

  • Ensures the monitoring and updating of dashboards, as well as activity reports.




Required profile :

- Diploma as a versatile Nurse with a Health Manager diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Significant professional experience of at least five (5) years;
- Knowledge of care protocols and hospital procedures
- Proficiency in office, management tools, and hospital information systems (HIS)
- Proficiency in French (written and spoken)
- Strong team management and human resources management skills
