Purpose of the position
The General Resources & Logistics Manager is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the company's material resources, infrastructures, and logistics flows. They ensure the availability of equipment, good stock management, and the smooth operation of general services to effectively support the organization's operations and overall performance.

Main tasks

General Resources Management

• Supervise the maintenance of premises, facilities, and equipment


• Manage supplier contracts (maintenance, security, cleaning, energy, telecom, etc.)


• Oversee general purchasing (furniture, supplies, consumables...)


• Manage the vehicle fleet (tracking, maintenance, insurance, claims)


• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards


• Organize office setups and employee workspace installations

Logistics Management

• Supervise the reception, storage, and distribution of goods


• Optimize internal and external logistics flows


• Manage stock and inventory


• Coordinate transport and deliveries


• Implement logistics performance indicators


• Ensure the availability of products or equipment needed for operations

Budget Management and Cost Optimization

• Prepare and monitor the budget for general resources and logistics


• Negotiate with suppliers and service providers


• Implement cost optimization actions


• Analyze expenses and propose improvements

Management and Coordination

• Lead logistics and technical teams


• Coordinate external service providers


• Define priorities and organize department activities


• Provide regular reports to management
   

Profile sought
Bachelor's degree to Master's degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in logistics, industrial management, supply chain, business management, or equivalent
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (general resources, logistics, supply chain, or operations)
Supplier negotiation skills
Budget management skills
Proficiency in computer tools and ERP systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills and service orientation
