As QHSE & Emergency Measures Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policies within our organization, as well as defining and implementing the necessary emergency measures to ensure the safety of our employees and protect our assets.





In this context, you will be required to:






  • Collaborate with management to develop, define, and negotiate Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policies.


  • Translate the tactical directives of QHSE management into operational activities.


  • Supervise and organize QHSE team members to meet operational needs.


  • Contribute to the development and deployment of operational standards and procedures.


  • Ensure compliance with the company's operational standards and procedures.


  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for QHSE.


  • Develop awareness tools for employees on the importance of their safety and health at work, as well as the risks associated with their professional activities.


  • Advise and support management in implementing preventive and corrective programs.


  • Plan and conduct internal safety audits and inspections on construction sites and in production units, preparing reports with recommendations for improvement.


  • Participate in the organization of construction sites and workstations, ensuring their safety and environmental compliance.


  • Oversee regulatory controls (electrical installations, fire-fighting equipment, etc.).


  • Contribute to investigations and analyses of incidents (workplace accidents, environmental incidents, etc.) to identify causes and develop action plans.


  • Organize and lead QHSE governance meetings, such as Quality, Health, Safety, and Working Conditions Committees (CHSCT) and Safety Management Committees (CGS).


  • Ensure the holding of management reviews of the QHSE management system.


  • Monitor and analyze QHSE statistical data and contribute to identifying corrective and preventive measures.


  • Plan and deliver internal and external QHSE training.


  • Prepare regular reports on QHSE performance.


  • Ensure the updating and application of the Internal Organization Plan (POI) with the help of the emergency measures manager.


  • Perpetuate and enrich the company's QHSE policy.


  • Provide advice and assistance to management to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in QHSE.


  • Support and assist operational staff in their efforts to prevent workplace accidents.


  • Foster continuous improvement of the QHSE culture within the company.


  • Cultivate employee buy-in and encourage changes in attitudes towards quality, safety, and the environment.



Job location: BOUMAADINE Mine, Cercle d'Errachidia Tinejdad

Working hours: Rotation of 20 working days / 10 days off with 9.5 hours of work per day.

Accommodation and meals provided by the company.

Type of contract: Permanent




Required profile :


Engineer or Master's degree (Bac + 5) with an HSE specialization,





We are looking for someone with at least 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in QSE and emergency measures, particularly in the mining, cement, and steel sectors.





Desired continuous training: Accident Analysis / Risk Analysis / Trainer Training / Working at Heights / Confined Space Work / Energy Lockout / Hot Work / Field Control / Environmental Analysis / Manual and Mechanical Handling / Legal and Regulatory Watch





Knowledge:


- Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.


- Proficiency in HSE regulations.


- Proficiency in the audit process.


- Analysis of undesirable events and non-conformities, and management of action plans.


- Excellent command of French (written and spoken) and very good command of English (written and spoken).


- Knowledge in the development and application of QHSE management systems.





Skills:


- Proficiency in computer tools: Excel, PPT, Word.


- Reporting, Presentations.


- Facilitating training and meetings.


- Ability to analyze complex situations.
