Job :
Networks & Systems Engineer, reporting to the Information Systems Division, you will be responsible for:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux).
- Administering virtualization environments (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Managing directory services (Active Directory: account management, GPO).
- Administering messaging systems (Microsoft Exchange / Office 365).
- Deploying and monitoring system and application updates.
- Configuring and administering network equipment: routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points.
- Ensuring network segmentation (VLANs) and IP addressing plans.
- Configuring and monitoring inter-site links (VPN, MPLS).
- Managing IP telephony (ToIP / VoIP).
- Implementing and monitoring the IT security policy.
- Administering security solutions: firewalls, antivirus, anti-spam, proxies.
- Monitoring event logs and detecting threats.
- Managing backups and data restores.
- Participating in the development and testing of Business Recovery Plans (BRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Securing the network infrastructure (segmentation, VLANs, VPNs).
- Hardening operating systems (Windows/Linux servers) and associated services (Active Directory, GPO, file servers, virtualization).
- Monitoring and analyzing security logs and events.
- Managing security incidents, analyzing root causes, and proposing action plans.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation (architecture diagrams, procedures).
- Applying and enforcing security policies (PSSI).
- Acting as the interface between business teams and service providers.
- Contributing to security audits (internal / external).
Required profile :
Graduated from an engineering school in computer science.
Significant experience of at least 5 years in a similar role.
Proven experience in system and network administration (Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP, firewalling, switching/routing).
Excellent command of network security solutions (Firewall, NAC).
Expertise in system hardening and Active Directory / IAM management.
Proficiency in operational security, log analysis, and vulnerability and incident management.
Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001/27002, NIST, DNSSI).
Skills in automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
Knowledge of SIEM / SOC / XDR environments appreciated.
Strong organizational rigor and methodical approach.
Initiative and technical curiosity supported by active monitoring.
Solid analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
