Mission:
Ensure the optimal management, operation, and running of drinking water facilities (treatment plants, reservoirs, pumping stations) to guarantee a continuous supply and distribution of water that meets quality, safety, and performance standards, while complying with regulatory requirements and SRM CS objectives.
Activities:
Oversee the operation and running of drinking water production and storage facilities.
Plan, organize, and supervise daily operations of the facilities (treatment, pumping, storage).
Ensure the quality of produced and distributed water complies with current health and regulatory standards.
Lead, motivate, and evaluate the facility operation teams and coordinate the work of external service providers.
Monitor facility performance (efficiency, availability, energy consumption, incidents).
Analyze malfunctions, operational incidents, or non-compliance issues and propose corrective and improvement actions.
Coordinate actions with maintenance, network, construction, and quality control laboratory departments.
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and environment (HSE) rules at the facilities.
Contribute to optimizing treatment processes, modernizing facilities, and controlling operating costs.
Prepare and provide technical and operational reports to management.
Required profile :
Academic Background:
State-recognized engineering degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Professional Experience:
More than 3 years of experience in the maintenance and operation of drinking water networks.
Required Skills:
In-depth technical expertise in drinking water distribution networks.
Leadership, management, and team motivation skills.
Sense of priorities, responsiveness, and ability to manage emergency situations.
Good command of HSE rules and standards applicable to water networks.
