We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Versatile Nurse to join our Hospital Hygiene and Care Department at HUIR. He/She will be responsible for patient reception and care, identifying patient needs, making nursing diagnoses, setting care goals, implementing appropriate actions, and evaluating them.
Your main responsibilities will be:

1.
- Welcome the patient and collect their administrative (identity, age, sex...) and clinical data.
- Listen to and comfort the patient and their relatives.
- Inform and educate the patient, their family, and their support network.

2.
- Administer various treatments and medications prescribed by the doctor until the patient's discharge
- Provide comfort and well-being care in collaboration with the nursing assistant.
- Monitor the patient's health status evolution.
- Perform preventive care (position changes, bedsore prevention care...)
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, explorations, biological, and radiological examinations,
- Administer therapeutic care (infusions, injections, administration of prescribed treatments)

3.

- Update monitoring and treatment sheets.
- Ensure oral and written handovers between different team members.
- Respect patient assignments by the supervisor.
- Record all actions performed in the computerized nursing care record.
- Participate in the development of technical sheets and care protocols.

4.
- Prepare and maintain the care trolley.
- Check, manage, and maintain medical equipment and devices (care trolley, biomedical equipment).
- Determine the needs for medications and medical devices for patients under their responsibility.

5.
- Train and supervise new staff and interns.

6.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene rules (hand washing, waste sorting)
- Ensure the prevention of hospital-acquired infections

- Nursing diploma
- Experience desired: 2 to 5 years
- Ability to diagnose and meet patient needs
- Knowledge of the responsibilities of a nurse
- Knowledge of best practice procedures and techniques relevant to their field of activity
- Conduct resuscitation in partnership with the responsible physician in emergency situations.
