Job :
We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Specialized General Nurse (IBODE) to join our Nursing and Hospital Hygiene Department at HUIR. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and caring for patients, identifying their needs, making nursing diagnoses, setting care objectives, implementing appropriate actions, and evaluating them.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1.
- Welcoming the patient and gathering their administrative (identity, age, gender...) and clinical data.
- Listening to and comforting the patient and their loved ones.
- Informing and educating the patient, their family, and their caregivers.

- Administering various treatments and medications prescribed by the doctor until the patient is discharged.
- Providing comfort and well-being care in collaboration with the nursing assistant.
- Monitoring the patient's health status.
- Performing preventive care (position changes, pressure ulcer prevention...).
- Preparing patients for surgical procedures, examinations, biological, and radiological tests.
- Administering therapeutic care (infusions, injections, prescribed treatments).

- Updating monitoring and treatment charts.
- Ensuring oral and written handovers between different team members.
- Respecting patient allocation by the supervisor.
- Recording all actions performed in the computerized nursing care record.
- Participating in the development of technical sheets and care protocols.

- Preparing and maintaining the care cart.
- Checking, managing, and maintaining medical equipment and devices (care cart, biomedical equipment).
- Determining the needs for medications and medical devices for patients under their responsibility.
5.
- Training and supervising new staff and interns.
6.
- Ensuring adherence to hygiene rules (hand washing, waste sorting).
- Preventing hospital-acquired infections.
Required profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Versatile
- Good command of laparoscopy, neurosurgery, traumatology, and sterile field management
- Ability to diagnose and meet patient needs
- Knowledge of the responsibilities of a nurse
- Knowledge of best practices and techniques related to their field of activity
- Conducting resuscitation in partnership with the responsible physician in emergency situations.
