Job :
As a Leather Goods Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting regular visits to suppliers to check the quality and conformity of products
- Verifying finishes, quantities, and quality standards upon receipt
- Ensuring stock follow-up (incomings, outgoings, inventory)
- Monitoring and communicating raw material quantities
- Organizing and optimizing material management with suppliers
- Sorting and structuring leather scraps (type, color, size)
- Identifying and reporting any non-compliance or anomaly
- Ensuring follow-up and organization of samples (internal and external)
- Managing samples with their technical sheets, molds, and patterns
- Creating technical drawings and product sheets
- Participating in product development and improvement in collaboration with the artistic direction
Required profile :
Profile sought:
- Training in leather goods, textiles, product design, or equivalent
- Experience in leather goods (workshop, production, or quality control) strongly appreciated
- Excellent rigor and attention to detail
- Good organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Skills in technical and/or creative drawing
- Proficiency in basic computer tools (Illustrator or equivalent is a plus)
- Field experience and ease in interacting with suppliers
