AVL Maroc SARL AU offers a job in Morocco (MA) as
Engine Components Design Engineer - Casting - Creo
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop core engine components, with a strong focus on aluminum castings for engine blocks and cylinder heads
- Create and manage 3D geometry and design concepts using Creo
- Ensure designs comply with casting design rules, manufacturability, and quality requirements
- Apply GD&T principles to define functional tolerances and ensure dimensional robustness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs
- Support technical reviews and design validation activities throughout the development cycle
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and best practices
YOUR PROFILE:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
- Experience in automotive engine design or a similar industrial environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of casting design for engine components
- Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and concept development
- Solid understanding and practical application of GD&T
- Experience with engine block and/or cylinder head design is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Good technical communication skills
