Job :
Reporting to the Management Control Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Supervise and oversee the management controller at the mine site and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at the mine site and headquarters in Casablanca.
- Implement and improve financial and operational information procedures.
- Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
- Maintain and optimize the monthly activity report and dashboards for mining and financial activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Monitor variances between forecast and actual results and propose corrective actions, if necessary.
- Lead monthly cost review meetings and foster a cost management culture.
- Optimize risk management (inventory levels, internal controls, etc.).
- Maintain the production inventory valuation model (cost price).
- Participate in the validation of purchase requests and their accounting codes.
- Lead the authorization and monitoring process for capital projects.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of GMOA Guide Ti.
- Provide management with analyses to facilitate decision-making.
Required profile :
You have a Bac +5 degree from an engineering or business school, or equivalent.
Ideally, you have a certificate in IFRS standards mastery.
Training in business intelligence tools (Power BI), Project management training (PMP), Financial modeling training (FMVA).
Professional experience: 5 years in a similar position, preferably in the mining, industrial, and/or construction industry.
Knowledge:
- Mastery of accounting and financial sciences and techniques.
- Mastery of Moroccan and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Mastery of budgeting and forecasting.
- Mastery of cost price calculation techniques and methods.
- Mastery of techniques for analyzing variances between actual and forecast results.
- Mastery of CAPEX project evaluation techniques.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools: Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, Teams...
- Proficiency in management software such as Sage 300 and Guide TI.
- Reporting, Presentations.
- Leading presentations and meetings.
- Communication in French and Arabic; English is an asset.
