Reporting to the Marketing Director for Passenger Cars & Commercial Vehicles, and in a context of transformation and development of our activities, we are recruiting our future Product Manager for Passenger Cars & Commercial Vehicles.
Your mission will be to define, develop, and manage a portfolio of Mercedes-Benz products throughout their lifecycle, from selection to showroom display.
As a true product marketing expert, you will contribute to the growth of market share, revenue, and profitability by building a clear, competitive offering aligned with Mercedes-Benz's premium standards. You will analyze market trends, monitor the competitive environment, support product launches, and train sales teams to enhance the performance of our ranges in the Moroccan market.
Your responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of Mercedes-Benz products throughout their lifecycle.
• Participate in building ranges: models, versions, trims, equipment packages, and special editions.
• Ensure the positioning, consistency, and profitability of products in the Moroccan market.
• Plan new launches, restylings, range evolutions, and phase-in / phase-out operations.
• Conduct market analyses, benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to identify development opportunities.
• Monitor the commercial performance of ranges: sales, revenue, margin, product mix, and market positioning.
• Coordinate actions with marketing, sales, logistics teams, and manufacturer contacts.
• Train sales teams on new features, product advantages, competitive comparisons, and sales support tools.
• Develop and update product materials: catalogs, product sheets, presentations, sales pitches, and network support.
• Design and update sales support tools, create specific marketing tools (newsletter, product promotions, presentations…)
Required profile :
•Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Management or equivalent
• You have initial experience in product marketing, ideally in the automotive sector or a related field.
• You have a strong affinity for the automotive world, premium brands, and product positioning challenges.
• You master the fundamentals of product marketing: market analysis, benchmarking, product launch, performance monitoring, pricing, and sales animation.
• You are analytical, structured, business-oriented, and comfortable with numbers.
• You can communicate, persuade, and work with various internal and external stakeholders.
• You are autonomous, rigorous, curious, and able to thrive in a demanding and evolving environment.
• You master: Excel, PowerPoint, French, and English.
