Job description:
Responsible for coordinating, supervising, and optimizing the overall operation of a desalination plant, ensuring the continuity of the production process, the quality of the water produced, and compliance with safety, environmental, and efficiency regulations.
Functions:
- Supervision and management of plant personnel and production activities.
- Prepare preventive maintenance reports and corrective action reports.
- Monitor quality control processes.
- Draft and follow up on work orders.
- Report and document any anomalies or technical issues arising during plant operations and collaborate in their resolution.
- Supervise the safe start-up and shutdown of plant equipment and systems, maintaining continuous operation in accordance with plant procedures.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment and following established safety procedures.
- Review accurate records of plant operations and activities, including production logs, maintenance reports, and water quality records. Proficiency in office tools; basic knowledge of Excel required.
- Monitor both mandatory and non-mandatory equipment inspections, ensuring they are scheduled and kept up to date.
- Implementation of ISO 50000 standard.
- Prepare production reports.
- Provide support to the Plant Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
Years of experience: 10 years of experience
Degree/qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Industrial, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Profesional profile:
- Good French required, both spoken and written.
- Availability to be relocated to Casablanca
