In agreement with the Manufacturing Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the following tasks:
- Related to product and process
- Writing and validating operational formulas for minor changes.
- Implementing the operational formula.
- Follows the implementation of process projects and organizational projects.
- Carries out the monitoring and updating of process flowcharts and P&IDs;
- Follows process qualifications, whether for a modification or a new installation.
- Formalizes and monitors corrective & improvement actions.
- Handles product/process non-conformities identified in their department.
- Implements and/or verifies the correct application of procedures and controls to ensure:
- Compliance of manufacturing with established standards;
- Optimization of resource consumption;
- Proper functioning of the washing process;
- Maintenance of equipment made available;
- Performing quality controls;
- Application of procedures related to product traceability and process control;
- Management of non-conforming products;
- Maintaining facilities and premises in optimal operating condition, through regular checks and monitoring of reported malfunctions.
- Related to lean manufacturing
- Is a member of a BMM continuous improvement pillar;
- Leads and participates in BMM improvement projects;
- Regularly communicates project progress against forecasts (Master plans) and alerts in case of blockages or malfunctions.
- Organizes information exchange between the pillar, sectors, and teams.
- Participates in continuous improvement meetings for the department (PCS02, PCS03...);
- Monitors SMQCDE indicators for the department and participates in their improvement to achieve defined objectives.
- Conducts 5S audits and monitors the handling of deviations.
- Related to the strategic plan of the "BigBel Tanger" factory
- Participates in strategic projects as a member of the project coordination team;
- Contributes to the implementation of action plans related to strategic projects.
- Related to food safety / Food defense
- Is a member of the HACCP team;
- Updates HACCP studies;
- Handles food safety non-conformities identified in their department.
- Contributes to enforcing hygiene rules in the various production workshops;
- Holds employees accountable for good reporting of food safety/Food defense malfunctions and anomalies.
- Related to Occupational Health and Safety
- Is aware of the various hazards and risks in the production department;
- Ensures and oversees compliance with occupational health and safety regulations;
- Performs on-call duty for the entire factory;
- Holds employees accountable for good reporting of OHS malfunctions and anomalies.
- Handles Health & Safety non-conformities identified in their department.
- Monitors and ensures the improvement of Health & Safety indicators for their department and implements actions.
- Related to the Environment
- Is aware of the environmental aspects and impacts related to various activities in Production;
- Ensures compliance with good environmental practices;
- Holds employees accountable for good reporting of environmental malfunctions and anomalies.
- Reacts quickly to any reported environmental anomaly.
- Handles environmental non-conformities identified in their department.
- Monitors and ensures the improvement of environmental indicators for their department and implements actions.
Required profile :
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in agri-food industry, process engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production.
- Knowledge of processes, cheese technology, QHSE
- Analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to organize, interact, and negotiate with production.
- Ability to lead a group in project management or transversal management.
- Good oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and present materials.
- French language mandatory, Arabic and English desirable.

- Proficiency in computer tools.
