We are looking for an experienced Plot Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned poultry farm plot, ensuring flock health, biosecurity, hygiene, staff supervision, and production efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily plot operations including bird placement, feeding, watering, ventilation, lighting, litter condition, and shed cleanliness- Monitor flock health and behavior, mortality and culling, feed and water intake, and environmental conditions (temperature and humidity)- Enforce strict biosecurity controls: staff hygiene, visitor movement, tool and vehicle disinfection, and disease prevention- Coordinate vaccination schedules, medication and treatment plans, and veterinary instructions- Supervise and manage plot workers: assign duties, monitor attendance, ensure timely task completion- Maintain accurate records for mortality, feed and water consumption, medicine usage, production performance, and house conditions- Liaise with maintenance support for farm equipment upkeep
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Poultry Science, or related field- 3-5 years of poultry farm experience (broiler, layer, or breeder operations)- Strong knowledge of flock management, biosecurity, feeding and ventilation systems, vaccination, and disease prevention- Ability to manage labor teams and work in a demanding farm environment- Accurate record-keeping and reporting skills
