RPID is responsible for piloting and/or carrying out development, industrialization, and transfer of activities for industrial projects entrusted to it. It guarantees compliance with Quality, Cost, Deadlines, Safety, and Environment (QCDS) objectives while ensuring transverse coordination and animation of internal and external stakeholders.
Main Missions
- Definition and piloting of industrial strategy: Propose, validate, and deploy the industrial scheme (Make or Buy). Participate in supplier selection, consistent with Program requirements and industrial strategy.
- Risk management and planning: Establish and manage risks from the MER1 phase. Establish the overall project schedule (development, industrialization, procurement) and ensure rigorous monitoring.
- Cost control: Establish the system budget by consolidating and challenging contributors. Validate and deploy QCDRS (Quality, Cost, Deadline, Safety, Robustness) requirements. Maintain the Permanent Budget (DP) for costs and quality, and validate the Product Recurring Cost (CCR). Pilot the Termination Industrialization Cost (CAT).
- Product development and industrialization: Contribute to the development logic (LDEV) and validate it. Implement and pilot the industrialization plan, procurement of prototypes and pre-series equipment, as well as the production plan. Participate in the Target Cost Design (CCxO) approach. Ensure the integration of industrial constraints (manufacturability, processes, means). Ensure the consideration of feedback (RETEX). Participate in work for product and process maturity (product/process FMEA, determination of KCs, robustness).
- Document management and validation: Constitute and manage the evolution of the Manufacturing and Control File (DFC), Industrial Validation File (DVI / PPAP), and maintenance file, consistent with the definition file. Pilot the industrial validation process and validate or reject industrialization reviews. Position for the Industrialization Department (DI) during MER reviews.
- Industrial means: Acquire and commission industrial means adapted to the projects.
- Management and communication: Pilot and animate the project team and transverse animation with multiple stakeholders (Supply chain, Quality, Production, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, DT, Program, CEI France, customers, suppliers). Periodically report on the project portfolio and ensure communication with internal and external customers.
- Continuous improvement: Capitalize, formalize, and disseminate best practices within the workshops. Research, propose, and drive improvement solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Engineer in industrial engineering, mechanical, electromechanical or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience ideally in production, development, and industrialization of industrial projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Mastery of knowledge in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanics, industrial computing.
- Expertise in project management and in reading/analyzing electrical and mechanical plans.
- Knowledge in instrumentation, measurements, and quality control.
- Mastery of expertise and problem-solving approaches (Brainstorming, 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, QQOQCCP).
- Use of digital and statistical tools (Minitab, SPC, Six Sigma, SAP, PLM, Pack Office).
