Job :
Operate the machines of the autonomous island in optimal qualitative and quantitative conditions. Ensure the sanitation and cleaning of the machines and their environment. Ensure the machines entrusted to you are kept in good condition by carrying out maintenance, upkeep, troubleshooting, and adjustment interventions within your scope of competence. In some cases, participate in administrative and technical management.
Related to the process and product: Carry out checks on the product to ensure the manufactured product (dough) complies with established standards. Maintain facilities and premises in good condition. Carry out cleaning, sanitation, and checks of washed equipment. Ensure the proper functioning of machines and react to any anomalies by implementing appropriate solutions. Report any anomaly beyond your scope of competence to your management. Apply all the standards of the position. Issue and analyze labels. Participate in island SMS meetings. Participate in continuous improvement projects to which you are assigned.
Related to quality and food safety: Apply the control measures defined for the various hazards in the job instructions. Ensure the monitoring of CCPs and PRPs according to the HACCP plan and manufacturing process PRPs. Verify the correct application of PRPs. Carry out the necessary sampling to control physico-chemical parameters. Record results and apply corrections if necessary. Inform your supervisor of any unresolved anomaly. Regularly act as a Quality relay ("Quality Man") within your IAP.
Related to equipment maintenance: Perform necessary control, inspection, cleaning, and lubrication actions (mechanical and electrical or others) for the proper functioning of equipment. Play a preventive role by reporting anomalies noticed during interventions. Carry out first-level corrective and preventive maintenance interventions, according to Work Orders (WO). Systematically and rigorously track all your maintenance interventions on WO in SAP.
Related to hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness: Clean and disinfect equipment. Keep your workstation clean, tidy, and organized. Respect hygiene and cleanliness rules to avoid any product contamination. Ensure machine sanitation by following the instructions and cleaning procedures defined in the documentation. Report to your management any malfunction related to the application of hygiene rules in your area. Ensure 5S compliance in your area.
Related to health and safety: Know and understand the dangers and risks related to the position. Comply with health and safety instructions mentioned in job instructions, position sheets, and various signage, as well as safety data sheets for chemicals used. Actively participate in improving safety conditions by reporting any anomaly or near-miss to your management, suggesting improvements, and implementing corrective actions. Follow the lockout procedure in case of interventions on electrical equipment. Regularly act as a Safety relay ("Safety Man") within your IAP.
Related to the environment: Know the environmental aspects and impacts related to the activity of your island. Apply operational standards and measures concerning resource consumption (water, energy, etc.): instructions, procedures. Sort waste according to the waste management procedure. React quickly to any reported environmental anomaly and report it to your supervisor.
Related to digitalization: Actively participate in the performance monitoring meeting (PCS). Use digital tools such as POKA and FABRIQ for process monitoring and improvement.
Required profile :
Specific skills required: Technical knowledge in the fields of cheese making, general mechanics, electricity, and industrial automation. Ability to read technical diagrams and plans. Proficiency in computer tools: office suite, SAP. Proficiency in spoken, written, and read French.
Individual qualities: Versatility. Initiative. Reactivity. Analytical mind. Good interpersonal skills.
